Having already conquered the world of music, Metallica has turned its attention to the world of high fashion. The legendary metal band stars in a new ad campaign from Brioni, an Italian luxury menswear brand.
The ads feature James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo wearing tuxedos while positioned in a way inspired by the cover of Queen‘s “Bohemian Rhapsody” single. You can view photos from the campaign on Metallica’s Facebook page.
“We are beyond thrilled to have been invited to be the face of Italian luxury menswear powerhouse Brioni as they kick off their first creative campaign under the direction of newly appointed creative director, über cool style star Justin O’Shea,” Metallica says.
Metallica has been unusually involved with the fashion industry lately — Ulrich was recently tapped to take photographs for a new fashion line starring his wife, Jessica Miller.
