It’s no secret that Steven Tyler has been spending a lot of time in Nashville lately working on a country-flavored solo album, and now the Aerosmith singer has joined the lineup of one of country music’s biggest showcases, the CMA Music Festival. Tyler will take part in the event’s Nightly Concerts series at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium during the third night of fest, Saturday, June 11.

The rock legend will take the stage at 8:30 p.m. CT, sandwiched between the evening’s opener, Chris Young, and Cole Swindell. The CMA Music Festival runs from June 9 to June 12.

In a message on his Tumblr page, Tyler writes, “HEY, YOU CAN’T SPELL #CMAFEST WITHOUT “ST”…PLAYING THE BIG STAGE JUNE 11…LET’S GET HOT & SWEATY & BRING THE CONFETTI…”

Tyler plans release his debut solo album sometime this year. He currently has one other solo date on his schedule, a show tonight, March 31, at the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Canada.
